Anfernee Lai is the Legal Practitioner Director and a Co-Founder of AH2 Legal.

Anfernee completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Australia before being admitted into the Supreme Court of WA as well as the High Court of Australia.

Prior to leading the AH2 Legal team, Anfernee was a Partner in a successful law firm in WA. With over a decade of extensive legal experience, he has consistently assisted numerous clients with major commercial transactions as well as representing clients in complex litigation matters in the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Court of WA.

As the vision carrier for AH2 Legal, Anfernee is fully committed to providing high quality specialised advice to his clients, enabling them to achieve the best possible outcomes in their legal matters. His vision through AH2 Legal as a vehicle, is to provide legal advice, support, and representation to those who are truly in need of such assistance.

Over the years, Anfernee has successfully negotiated countless positive out-of-court settlements, enabling his clients to avoid wasting precious time and resources. On the other hand, he fully understands that for certain disputes, litigation within the Court system might be the only possible option and when required, he is known to be a fearless advocate in the Courts, fighting relentlessly for his clients’ rights and wishes.

Anfernee is trilingual (English, Mandarin, Cantonese), giving him the linguistic skills and know-how to assist clients from diverse backgrounds. With his linguistic abilities, he is also well positioned to provide valuable advice to local Australian companies and individuals in respect to their business dealings with overseas companies, particularly those from the Asia Pacific region.

Anfernee is a member of the Law Society of WA, the Asian Australian Lawyers Association as well as the Secretary of Western Australia Singapore Business Council.

Outside of work, Anfernee has a keen interest in red wines.
